Technical profile/ Your duties:
- Attend the project’s kick-off meeting held by the Project Manager and other general meetings with all teams and stakeholders and also assisting project manager in meeting agendas and minutes of meeting.
- Update Progress report continuously by directly communicating and coordinating with all team members/disciplines.
- Direct work flow to be according to EMS Experts’ Process.
- Produce design work according to established standards, methods, and procedures of work and within the budgeted man-hours.
- Develops / assists in developing solutions for technical problems and keeping control on project construction cost.
- Ensure the full considering of the archiving, naming convention and EMS Experts’ CAD/BIM systems through the project, note and notify any shortage in all the above.
- Assist the project managers in making the project whole schedule and report any surplus or shortage in resources or time.
- Ensure that all design tasks are developed with the highest quality and according to the client's objectives & needs.
- Regularly reviews the performed drawings upon the completion of project milestone and conducts in-house quality control before submittals.
- Ensure the delivery of the project in accepted quality through EMS Experts quality checklists.
- Guide the project’s team technically through the project at all levels.
- Enrich his team with all technical knowledge needed to improve work quality.
- Presenting the project outputs at all stages internally.
- Instructs draftsmen and CADD operators about requested detailed mechanical drawings to be prepared.
- Perform /Supervise project staff with regard to:
- Preparation of the required calculations and estimation rates of water flow using the standard engineering software and used company tools such as “ELITE”.
- Determination of the size and type of the pipes and the preparation of preliminary design layout in coordination with Senior Mech. Eng. and Mech. Engineer.
- Determination of the size and type of the HVAC equipment and the preparation of preliminary design layout in coordination with Senior Mech. Eng. and Mech. Engineer.
- Preparation
of the required calculations and estimation rates of air condition tonnage
using the standard engineering software and used company tools such as
“HAP”.
Desired Skills and Experience
Who we are looking for?
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Faculty of Engineering.
- Years of Experience from 10 - 15 years in Mechanical Field.
- PMP certificate or equivalent in progress.
- Strong knowledge in international codes and standards.
- Proficient in MEP drafting programs and plugins ex: Revit - AutoCAD
- Good user for HAP software for HVAC calculations – ELITE software for Fire Fighting.
- Good user for analysis and scheduling programs: Microsoft excel and MS Project
- You are fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
